Queen-Elizabeth Class STOVL Aircraft Carrier

Description

The Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers of the United Kingdom's Royal Navy consists of two vessels. The lead ship of her class, HMS Queen Elizabeth, and her sister ship, HMS Prince of Wales. They form the central components of the UK Carrier Strike Group.

Queen-Elizabeth Class Ships are capable of carrying up to 40 aircraft, including the advanced F-35B Lightning II stealth fighters and helicopters. Both ships are equipped with a ski-jump ramp to launch F-35B fighters and other STOVL Aircraft.
