In-Flight Refueling

The Osprey is capable of In-Flight Refueling. Unfortunately, this cannot be accurately modeled on MSFS at this time, as the β€œRefueler component” is missing in the sim. However, the refueling probe is fully animated, and refueling procedures can be somewhat simulated following a rather imaginative approach.

  1. On APLN flight, and at stable speed and altitude:

    1. CDU – STAT – FUEL – PROBE Extend

    2. Wait for probe to extend fully (visible from cockpit)

    3. Manually open the Fuel and Payload menu – Load Fuel

    4. Verify new Fuel Amount

    5. CDU – STAT- FUEL – PROBE Stow

  2. Continue Flight normally.
